Intermediate and Expert Trails
Buttermilk is not just for beginners. The mountain also offers trails for intermediate and expert skiers. Visiting Buttermilk
Sitting about 3 miles northwest of Aspen, Buttermilk operates from mid-December to early April, open daily from 9 a.m. to around 3:30 p.m. Lift tickets start at approximately $160 per adult, with prices varying based on the season. These tickets allow access to any of the four local ski areas. To save on passes, consider purchasing them in advance from the Aspen-Snowmass website. For those without their own transportation, the free RFTA shuttle provides easy access to Buttermilk.
