This six-story tall, 90-ton elephant has undergone significant preservation efforts and repairs over its long history. Originally built in 1881 to attract homebuyers, Lucy has since earned the designation of a National Historic Landmark and is a fantastic family destination.

Visitors can climb to Lucy's howdah (the platform on her back) for spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. A tour of Lucy's interiors, which once even served as a hotel, is not to be missed.

During the summer, the attraction is also open on Mondays and Tuesdays. Guided tours occur every half-hour and last approximately 30 minutes.
