Summer Activities

A zip line offers an adrenaline-pumping ride down 1,400 vertical feet to the base. Hiking enthusiasts can explore a new trail opened in summer 2024. From Thursday to Sunday evenings in the summer, scenic chairlift rides take visitors up to approximately 7,800 feet, where they can enjoy a sunset dinner.

Hours

In winter, Mount Bachelor typically opens around Thanksgiving and stays operational until Memorial Day, depending on snowfall. Lifts start running at 9 a.m., with some passholders granted access as early as 8 a.m. on weekends. Lift operations begin closing around 3:15 p.m., with a full shutdown by 4 p.m. In the summer, the mountain welcomes visitors daily, generally from 10 a.m. to 5 or 7 p.m. Late summer and early fall visits are limited to Thursday through Sunday. It's important to check specific activity hours as they may vary.

Tickets

When purchased online in advance, all-day lift tickets start at $95 for children aged 6 to 12 and $125 for adults. There are discounts for teens and seniors aged 65 and older. A Late Arrival Ticket, allowing skiing from noon to close, offers a discounted rate. In summer and early fall, scenic chair rides cost $24, while bike passes are priced at $60, with cheaper options available for lower trails.
