Introduction to MGM Park
Home to the Biloxi Shuckers, the Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, MGM Park opened to the public in June 2015. The park features concession stands, a lounge, a dozen suites, and a team store. With a seating capacity of more than 6,000, MGM Park also hosts concerts and various special events, but the primary attraction remains America's favorite pastime—baseball.
Visitor Experience
Visitors often praise the stadium for its excellent condition and the charming hometown atmosphere it provides. Highlights frequently mentioned include the fun between-inning contests, occasional fireworks, and other entertainment. The staff receives high marks for their friendliness. However, reviewers also note that the ballpark's seats lack shade, making sunny day games quite warm.
Location and Accessibility
MGM Park is conveniently located near downtown Biloxi, just across the street from the Beau Rivage Hotel & Casino. The stadium offers on-site parking facilities. Ticket prices vary based on the day of the game, seat location, and the opponent team.
General Admission Tickets
Game-day general admission tickets for the chair-free grass berm, where attendees can sit on their own blankets, typically cost around $8 per person.
Tours
Tours of MGM Park are available on non-game weekdays, but they must be arranged in advance. To schedule and book a tour, visitors need to call ahead. Tours cost approximately $6 per person and require a minimum of five participants.
For more detailed information, visitors are encouraged to check out the stadium's website.
