Details
Just half a mile south of Mizner Park, Royal Palm Place is another popular shopping and dining destination spread out over several blocks in downtown Boca. It's an ideal spot for a meal or a serene stroll during your visit. Although it doesn't possess the same visual landmark status as Mizner Park, Royal Palm Place is actually its predecessor, having opened in the 1960s as one of Boca's original shopping centers. It offers a unique Mediterranean charm that distinguishes it from typical shopping plazas.
Shopping and Dining Experience
As you explore Royal Palm Place, you'll encounter an eclectic mix of boutique shops, galleries, and more than 20 international restaurants. The area is adorned with flowing fountains, a sculpture garden, and bougainvillea-framed facades, all while ambient classical music plays in the background.
Visitor Feedback
Recent visitors enjoyed simply walking around the upscale shopping center and sampling its various restaurants. However, they cautioned that parking can be challenging during peak hours such as weekends or dinnertime. The area comes alive in the evenings, especially on weekends, featuring entertainment options like a live music venue and a comedy café. Additionally, the mall hosts an open-air farmer's market on Sundays from February to May.
Hours
Royal Palm Place is open from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. to midnight on Sunday.
