Introduction to the Museum of Latin American Art

Housed in a striking building designed by the Mexican artist Manuel Rosen, the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) offers an immersive appreciation of Latino art before visitors even step inside. Established in 1996, it is the only museum in the country dedicated exclusively to modern and contemporary Latino art.

Inside the Museum

The museum boasts a collection of more than 1,600 permanent pieces alongside a wide variety of rotating exhibits. Past exhibitions at MOLAA have included works by renowned artists such as Robert Graham, Osmeivy Ortega, Nuna Mangiante, and Judithe Hernández.

Sculpture and Event Garden

Visiting Information

The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, it is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on other days. On Thursday nights, the museum has extended hours, and admission is free from 4 to 8 p.m. Moreover, admission is free all day on Sundays.

Admission Fees

On days when free admission is not offered, general admission costs $10. Students and seniors can purchase tickets for $7, while children 11 and younger can visit for free.
