During the winter holidays, the plaza transforms into a festive scene with an illuminated Christmas tree and ice skaters gliding across the rink. However, no matter when you visit, there's something to enjoy year-round. Plan your day to include a morning watching a taping of the "Today" show, an afternoon admiring the city from the Top of the Rock Observation Deck, and an evening performance at Radio City Music Hall.

Visiting Hours

The Top of the Rock Observation Deck is open daily from 8 a.m. to midnight, with the last entry at 11:10 p.m. Rockefeller Center is strategically located in midtown Manhattan between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. You can reach Rockefeller Center via the B, D, F, or M trains.

Ticket Information

Admission to the Top of the Rock starts at $40 for adults, $38 for seniors, and $34 for children aged 6 to 12. If you wish to visit during sunset, the most popular time, there is an additional $10 fee.

Rockefeller Center Tours

Guided tours of Rockefeller Center are priced at $27 per person and begin daily at 10 a.m. For a more economical option, consider purchasing the combo ticket known as the "Rock Pass" for $56, which includes both a tour of Rockefeller Center and access to the Top of the Rock.
