Morgan's Wonderland: An Inclusive Amusement Park
Morgan's Wonderland stands as the world's only amusement park designed to accommodate children of all abilities. Created by former homebuilder Gordon Hartman in honor of his daughter, Morgan, who has cognitive and physical disabilities, the park features contributions from a local team of medical experts, engineers, and therapists. It boasts over 25 accessible attractions, rides, and play areas, including a deluxe carousel, Ferris wheel, amphitheater, catch-and-release fishing lake, and sensory play center. Additionally, the park includes a water park known as Morgan's Inspiration Island.
Accessibility and Amenities
Beyond the accessible rides, families appreciate the friendly, welcoming staff and reasonably priced food options. The park also allows visitors to bring in outside food, beverages, and coolers, making it easy to enjoy your own refreshments.
Hours of Operation
Located in northeast San Antonio, Morgan's Wonderland operates during the spring and summer months. It remains closed from November through the end of February. Since hours can vary by day and month, visitors are encouraged to check the website for a complete list of operating hours.
