Recreational Facilities
Gathering Place is home to a beach and a pond where visitors can rent paddleboats, kayaks, or canoes. The park also boasts the 5-acre Chapman Adventure Playground specifically designed for families with young children. Adjacent to it is Slide Vale, a network of four slides, with one going underground, and Swing Hill, which features a variety of swings and offers stunning views of the park and the Arkansas River.
