Kincaid Park offers an excellent retreat for those seeking a wilderness experience without leaving the city limits. Situated in Anchorage's southwest corner and overlooking Cook Inlet, this 1,400-acre park features a wide array of recreational opportunities. Visitors can enjoy numerous hiking, biking, and cross-country ski trails, as well as gardens and diverse wildlife, including moose, black and brown bears, foxes, and porcupines.
The park maintains its trails year-round, ensuring they are always in good condition. Additionally, the western side of the park boasts a disc golf course for enthusiasts.
