Introduction to Truist Park

Since its opening in 2017, Truist Park has welcomed thousands of fans who come to support the Atlanta Braves, their favorite Major League Baseball team. The baseball stadium, formerly known as SunTrust Park, accommodates up to 41,000 spectators, each enjoying a sweeping view of the field. However, attending a game isn't the only way to experience the park. Daily tours are available year-round to delve into the Braves' rich history. These tours include views of Monument Garden's historic displays, the dugout, the press box, and visits to the Braves Clubhouse Store, among other highlights. After touring, visitors can head to the nearby Atlanta Battery for dining, shopping, or even a manicure.

Visitor Impressions and Feedback

Fans generally laud the park for being clean, well-designed, and a significant upgrade from the Braves' previous home, Turner Field. The family-friendly atmosphere and the friendly, knowledgeable tour guides receive frequent praise. Despite these positive reviews, some travelers note the downside of large crowds, traffic, and challenging parking experiences.

Access and Transportation

Truist Park is located about 13 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta. While driving is an option, parking fees start at $20 and vary by lot. Alternatively, fans can take the CobbLinc's Route 10 bus and disembark at the corner of Cobb Parkway and Cumberland Parkway, followed by a short walk to the stadium. The Cumberland Circulator's Blue and Green lines also offer free rides to the park and the Battery.

Hours of Operation

The Braves play regular season games from March or April through September, with game times varying by season. Tours typically occur Monday to Saturday at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., and 2 p.m., with Sunday tours at 1 and 3 p.m. from April to September. From October through March, tours run Monday to Saturday at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m. For the complete Braves' schedule and to book a tour or game tickets, visit the park's website.

Ticket Information

Game ticket prices depend on seating location and the opponent. Tour tickets are priced at $32 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. As expected, concessions and souvenirs are additional costs.
