Initially housed in the modest Centennial Museum, it has undergone two substantial expansions. Today, the museum operates from two distinct buildings constructed in 1972 and 2006. These structures house a diverse range of rotating exhibits from its permanent collection, consisting of more than 1,850 artworks. The primary focus is on regional art, featuring sculptures, watercolors, paintings, and full-scale installations.

Visitors to the museum can not only view these exhibits but also explore the gift shop. For children, the on-site ArtCade provides an opportunity to craft their own artistic creations. The museum also organizes various events catering to both children and adults.

Operational Hours and Admission

The museum welcomes visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission fees are set at $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and military members, and $4 for students. Additionally, there is a special $1 admission fee on the first Friday of every month, during which the museum extends its hours until 9 p.m.
