Experience the Thrills of Gatlinburg SkyPark
This mountainside park is all about the views. Its yellow SkyLift carries guests from downtown Gatlinburg up to the top of Crockett Mountain at 1,800 feet elevation. After the thrill of this chairlift ride, visitors can take on the SkyBridge – the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America.
SkyBridge Adventure
Spanning nearly 700 feet across a mountain holler, the bridge features 30 feet of glass across the halfway point for a knee-shaking view down. After that adrenaline rush, head to the SkyTrail for a peaceful stroll, which includes an observation tower for viewing panoramic scenery, or to the SkyDeck for a relaxing meal with a view.
Traveler Reviews
Recent travelers called the trek across the SkyBridge a bucket list adventure and a "must-do" activity. They appreciated that the park provides educational background on the region's devastating 2016 wildfire and how Gatlinburg has rebuilt in its aftermath. Some visitors noted that the bridge can get busy and may feel a little disorienting when it sways slightly with greater numbers of people on it.
