Introduction to the Sugarlands Visitor Center
According to recent travelers, the Sugarlands Visitor Center should be your first stop in the park. The center features extensive natural history exhibits and screens a free 20-minute film about the park. It also houses a bookstore, a gift shop, restrooms, and offers various information, including trail maps. Additionally, there are several ranger-led programs offered seasonally, and a few nature trails where you can stretch your legs and take in some forest scenery.
