Introduction to Lyon Arboretum
Managed by the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, the Lyon Arboretum is a sprawling 200-acre botanical garden and arboretum situated at the upper end of Manoa Valley, roughly 5 miles north of Waikiki. This lush sanctuary is home to over 6,000 plant species and boasts more than 7 miles of hiking trails. Given the rugged terrain, visitors are advised to wear sturdy shoes for a comfortable hike.

Hours and Access
The Lyon Arboretum is open to the public from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. While entrance is free, visitors are required to make reservations via Eventbrite. Upon arrival, all guests must sign in at the visitor center.
