Introduction to Stearns Wharf
Stearns Wharf, situated next to the harbor and at the end of State Street, is a picturesque pier extending out from the Santa Barbara shoreline. Constructed in 1872, it became the longest deep-water wharf between San Pedro and San Francisco. Today, it holds the title of the oldest working wooden wharf in California.
