About Please Touch Museum

Widely considered one of the best children's museums in the U.S., the Please Touch Museum offers hands-on fun for children as young as 1. You and your kids can travel to Alice's Wonderland, float boats in a water table version of the local Schuylkill River, and ride the precious Woodside Park Dentzel Carousel (extra fees apply). Recent visitors agree that the "Food & Family" exhibit is especially enjoyable for kids, featuring a supermarket, home and industrial kitchens, and a neighborhood festival area.

Weekly Events

The museum hosts themed events each week. Make sure to check the schedule on their website before your visit to see what's on.

Visitor Recommendations

While the museum website suggests this attraction is ideal for children from six months to 8 years old, many recent visitors find it's best suited for kids aged 5 and younger. Note that it costs extra to ride the museum's popular historic carousel.

Wheelchair Accessibility

The museum is fully wheelchair-accessible, and a limited number of adult wheelchairs are available for use.

Online reservations are required for a visit to the Please Touch Museum. Admission is $22 per person, regardless of age. Note that tickets do not cover the cost of the carousel, which requires an additional $5 per child for unlimited rides.
